There are three ways of reaching the island of Morro de São Paulo:

- From Salvador de Bahia, a 25 minute flight by aerotaxi from the city airport.

- Over land to the city of Valença, then a fast launch will get you to the island in 20 minutes.

- From Salvador de Bahia  less than one and a half hours by fast motorboat.
