One of the characteristics of the Morro de Sao Paulo is that its beaches are not identified by name but in numerical order. The beaches are in all six but the most frequented by tourists are mainly the first four, all with very fine compact sand and crystal clear sea but with different characteristics.
The First Beach, starting from the small port, for example, is less crowded than the next one and is suitable for surfers who will find a good sea condition to practice their sport.
The Second Beach is definitely the most crowded, full of bars, pousadas and kiosks of fruit, is the place of the 'movida' “nightlife” of the island, ideal for fun and to make some acquaintances having a few drinks and listening to good live music until late at night .
The Third Beach, where our Hotel Village Paraíso Tropical, among the beste Hotels in Morro de Sao Paulo, is located, much quieter, is characterized by the presence of coral reefs and is suitable for diving, sees the presence of various restaurants where you can enjoy Bahian cuisine and pousade of higher category.
Finally, the Fourth Beach is the triumph of uncontaminated nature: a very long coastline characterized by marvelous natural pools, fine white sand and an expanse of coconut palms and a luxuriant vegetation interrupted by some tropical fruit kiosk or by nice horse-drawn carts .
Finally, the extraordinary beach of Garapuà: you can reach it by car (4x4) with a trip of about two and a half hours or by boat trips. It is a fishing village with beautiful natural pools formed by the coral reef where you can make unforgettable baths in warm and crystal clear waters caressed by myriads of colorful tropical fish.
